We've moved!
This past Sunday, in fact. We had a huge collection of volunteers that we could not have done this without.
This shop was in the 224 1st Street W location at First Brick since early 2015 under the ownership of our friend Marty Mitchell. We will miss that building and its owners. But- we needed the space. At just the right moment, a building I had worked in when I first moved to Mount Vernon opened up and here we are. Feels a little like coming home.
Here are our plans going forward:
Watch for our grand opening date- we are waiting for signage to install before we schedule that.
Our hours have extended to 10-5 (6) Tuesday - Saturday (Friday).
We will be adding a tea room, hopefully by summer. Tea has been a big part of our shop since the beginning and we want to grow this area out. Not only will you be able to continue to buy tea blends from brands like Plum Deluxe and Chapters, but you'll also be able to grab a cuppa to go, or for here at the shop. We have tables, chairs, and cozy seating for hanging around in for awhile.
Our book collection is growing! If we don't have what you're looking for, ask about special orders!
