Yarn Story for February 2023

Well, did you make it through January? We have but barely. This is the portion of the year I find hardest to get through- and I usually enjoy winter. Well, the idea of winter, anyway, but this year I'm finding myself longing for spring and even... dare I say it... summer.

Clearly I need something warm to work on. So, for February, we have some cozy offerings that should help you travel through the cold.

Our featured yarn is Tiramisu - a lovely combination of Wool/Mohair/Acrylic and Silk blend - from Berroco. It comes in 6 colors and you really have to hold them to get the full effect. I love the fuzz factor of the mohair which adds so much warmth to the project.

For our project, we are featuring Cozy Thermal Mitts, which you can find on Ravelry for free! A simple knit that shows off Tiramisu perfectly (and keeps your hands cozy).

Lastly, our featured book is Emma: A Modern Retelling by Alexander McCall Smith. For fans of Austen, it's a hilariously accurate modernization. For the uninitiated- it should grant you access to the original, plus it's just a fun, quirky, witty read.

Stop in soon and see us!
