Shop News - July 2026

Hi friends! 

Here’s what’s up in the shop this month-

On July 1st, this year’s Iowa Book Tour begins. Passports for that event will be available at the shop, along with the bingo cards and - this year!- a mystery to solve. It’ll be a grand time! Last year, we had SO much fun with all the different people on the tour, and we hope to see many back.

Silent Book Society for July is on July 2nd- sorry for the late head’s up! This book club is growing! Bring a book- or enjoy 15% off a new one- make a cup of tea, and settle in for an hour of uninterrupted reading. I am always astonished by how much reading I get done in that hour! 

Marilee Feldman is teaching a felting class on the 25th of this month. The class costs $30 and comes with everything you need to start. Click here for more information and to reserve your spot. 

I have spots open for beginner classes still this month, although they’re starting to fill up. If you have thought about learning a new skill, now may be your time! We have lowered the cost of our beginning classes and those can be found here.
