Just before the pandemic, Wendy returned to working with Teddy Bears and other Stuffed Animals after finding a few on street corners awaiting the landfill. 

According to a study conducted by the Washington Post in 2022, nearly 80% of stuffed animals and other toys end up being thrown away each year, amounting to 6% of plastics in landfills worldwide. This is a huge waste and a place where we can make a real difference. 

All of our HiBearnation Spa bears and friends are restored with care and a mindful use of supplies. Everything that can be saved will be saved. Each animal friend comes with a letter of introduction and care instructions.
